The Outreach Committee turns our faith into action on a local level as it comforts the afflicted of our society with food, housing and Christian Fellowship. The Outreach Committee harnesses the congregation’s dedicated outreach budget and applies it through caring and creative programs in which the entire Congregation can participate to fight hunger, homelessness, and despondency.
LATEST OPPORTUNITY! THE MITTEN TREE IS UP!
We are again supporting St. Anne’s in their efforts to help those local families in need. Handmade or store-bought mittens, gloves, hats and scarves are much needed for adults and children. The Mitten tree will be up through the beginning of February. Please place your items on the tree. We will make deliveries to St. Anne’s as needed. Mission and Outreach would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming response to the Giving Tree this year. Thank you again for your generosity.
Below are some of the organizations supported locally. Outreach invites you to join us, applying your faith to our 21st Century missionary ministry as we bring the talents and resources of our Church to those in need. Our Church on the Green newsletter contains information on new and additional initiatives.
